Chinese Herbology

has been practiced for thousands of years but the earlier literatures were all destroyed or missing. However, the first traditionally recognised literature was in 2800BC. It explains the nature and function of 365 species of roots, grass, woods, furs, animals and stones. roots, grass, woods, furs, animals and stones.
Nowadays, there are roughly 13,000 medicinals used in China and over 100,000 medicinal recipes recorded in the ancient literature.

How Does it work????

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) asserts that the body has natural patterns of qi that circulate in channels called meridians. In TCM, symptoms of various illnesses are believed to be the product of disrupted, blocked, or unbalanced qi movement through the body's meridians, as well as deficiencies or imbalances of qi in the Zang Fu organs.Traditional Chinese medicine often seeks to relieve these imbalances by adjusting the circulation of qi using a variety of techniques including herbology, food therapy, physical training regimens (qigong), moxibustion, tui na, and acupuncture.

TCM is different from Western Medicine, for example, 10 patients with type 2 diabetes, we might prescribe 10 different formulas to each individual cases due to everyone's condition is different.
Moreover, if there are 10 differnt practioners treat a patient with type 2 diabetes, it is possible that all practitioners use different herbs or acupuncture points because there are more than one theory that we can apply with. In addition, if a patient comes with severe knee pain, we can use the points on the hand or arm that can actually relieve the symptoms, this is NOT magic.

TCM is not magic, it is an accumulated treatment because most of the dysfunction or disease were built in years.....please don't assume that 1 treatment can cure everything.....it is not hard to ease the symptoms and signs but it takes time to treat the roots!!!!

With TCM, everything is natural with no side effects...and this is what we all need. We don't wanna cure one problem and creates 10 different side effects!

It is time for you to invest on your health rather than sitting there and wait for miracles!!!
